Applications are now open for the 2025–2026 program year of the Dr. Jeanne L. Noble Delta GEMS (Growing and Empowering Myself Successfully) Institute for the Oklahoma Sooner City Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated.
Interested applicants may access the application using the QR code provided on the attached flyer.
The GEMS program is designed to elevate and broaden the possibilities for high school young ladies, ages 14–18, offering meaningful, enriching, and educational experiences that inspire excellence, leadership, and self-empowerment.
The goals of the Delta G.E.M.S Program are:
- To develop strong, confident and respectful young ladies and prepare them to take an active role in their success and society.
- To instill in girls the need to excel academically. To provide tools that will enable girls to sharpen and enhance their skills to achieve high levels of academic successes.
- To assist girls in proper goal setting and planning for their futures.
- To create compassionate, caring, and community minded young women by actively involving them in service learning and community service opportunities.
