Empowering Informed and Engaged Communities
The Oklahoma Sooner City Alumnae Chapter is committed to promoting civic engagement, voter education, and community advocacy. Through education, partnerships, and public awareness initiatives, we encourage individuals to stay informed, make their voices heard, and actively participate in the democratic process.
Voter Education & Registration
We support voter education and registration efforts designed to increase civic participation and encourage informed engagement in the electoral process. Special emphasis is placed on reaching young voters and individuals whose voting rights may be eligible for restoration.
Partnerships for Change
We collaborate with local organizations and community stakeholders to address issues impacting our communities. These efforts include supporting conversations around community policing, public safety, and opportunities for positive community change.
Resource Awareness
We strive to connect seniors and other vulnerable populations with information and resources that can help them navigate challenges and access available support services.
Women in Politics
Through education and awareness initiatives, we support and encourage women interested in public service, civic leadership, and political engagement by providing practical information and resources to help them explore opportunities for involvement.
