The Dr. Jeanne L. Noble Delta GEMS (Growing and Empowering Myself Successfully) Institute for the Oklahoma Sooner City Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated is now accepting applications for the 2024 – 2025 program year. This initiative provides innovative opportunities for high school young ladies, ages 14 – 18, to engage in meaningful, enriching and educational activities.
The goals of the Delta G.E.M.S Program are:
• To develop strong, confident and respectful young ladies and prepare them to take an active role in their success and society. To instill in girls the need to excel academically.
• To provide tools that will enable girls to sharpen and enhance their skills to achieve high levels of academic successes.
• To assist girls in proper goal setting and planning for their futures.
• To create compassionate, caring, and community minded young women by actively involving them in service learning and community service opportunities.
Key Dates:
August 1, 2024: Application Opens
September 6, 2024: Application Closes
September 14th: Participant & Parent Orientation
